Meet Isaiah Garcia, one of the people behind the work at RT Abbott Construction! 👋 We’re grateful for the talented people on our team who bring their knowledge, attention to detail, and passion for construction to every project. Here’s a little more about Isaiah and what he enjoys most about his work: “I enjoy the estimating process because it gives me the opportunity to really understand a project before construction begins. From reviewing plans and drawings to coordinating subcontractor proposals and developing detailed budgets, I like digging into every aspect of a project and understanding how all of the pieces fit together. One of my favorite parts of estimating is mapping out the work, identifying potential challenges, and thinking through how a project should be planned and assembled. I believe that strong preconstruction planning and attention to detail are key to setting a project up for success. I have always been interested in both architecture and construction, the relationship between how a home is designed and how that design is actually brought to life. Estimating gives me the opportunity to see both sides of that process. Every project introduces a different architectural style, level of detail, and set of construction methods, which keeps the work interesting. I enjoy becoming familiar with everything from contemporary and modern homes to traditional and Spanish-style architecture, and seeing how the design choices affect the materials, detailing, sequencing, and overall construction of the home. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, being outdoors, camping, and spending time in nature. I like getting away from the day-to-day routine, exploring new places, and spending quality time with the people closest to me.” We’re proud to have Isaiah as part of the RT Abbott team and grateful for everything he brings to our projects.
